JR96550 Carelon Account Executive II
The Account Executive II of Carelon Account Management will be responsible for directing account management retention activities for Carelon within an assigned book of business. The Account Executive will serve as the main contact for the assigned health plan that serves about 135,000 members in Massachusetts.
Location: This is a remote position; however, the strong preference is for the successful hire to be in Massachusetts.
How will you make an impact:
Provides leadership and strategic direction to ensure book of business meets profitability standards.
Ensure delegated services and activities are delivered in a timely manner to support the needs of the health plan.
Develops strategies to achieve assigned retention and upsell goals.
Collaborate with Functional Leads and matrix partners to support meeting all performance guarantees and service level agreements.
Support health plan in delivering high-quality care to the members it serves.
Minimum requirements:
Requires a BA/BS, and a minimum of 7 years of experience working in a sales and/or account management, strategy, or sales support operations role; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed KPIs and key deliverables.
Proactive with impeccable interpersonal skills.
Understands contractual goals and how to meet them.
Must have managed care experience.
Behavioral Health experience preferred.
Experience with the Massachusetts healthcare system is preferred.
Demonstrated thought leadership experience and success is preferred.
Experience with different lines of business, such as commercial, Medicaid, Medicare, dual membership, etc.
Extremely comfortable interacting and partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
The Account Executive II will be expected to attend in-office meetings at least 2x a month.
