Project Manager
Location: Chicago, IL. Mason, OH. or Indianapolis, IN.
This position will take part in Elevance Health's hybrid workforce strategy which includes virtual work and 1-2 days in office per week.
The Project Manager reports to the CLO Chief of staff and will be responsible for business planning, governance, and the implementation of legal department projects.
Projects include but are not limited to creating a billing and invoice management program and developing targets for cost avoidance (metrics and KPIs).
How You Will Make an Impact
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Creating processes and practices to improve the day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness of the department and facilitate change, lead and execute department initiatives.
Associate will develop regular reporting mechanisms, monitor progress, and measure quantitative and qualitative outcomes to ensure successful execution of projects.
Requires a high level of organization and business acumen, the ability to influence key stakeholders, and experience in the healthcare payer space.
Candidate should have experience successfully developing and managing projects.
Associates in this role are expected to have strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills.
Candidate must be able to adapt to changing priorities and business needs and be proactive in identifying areas of need and generating action plans.
This role may also partner directly with senior leadership within the CLO organization at large.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 3 years professional project management experience, which at least 2 years are spent leading and directing project tasks; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
Demonstrated ability to create an effective team environment, build strong relationships, solving problems and issues in a matrix environment and communicating effectively at all levels of an organization is strongly preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Experience working in a lead role on one or more projects strongly preferred.
