Position Purpose:
The Analyst, Retail Media Billing will support billing & financial planning functions for a growing digital business unit at The Home Depot. This individual will support the unique needs of our vendor partners while gaining exposure to a broad set of billing approaches & solutions. This role will directly support billing, invoice reconciliation, and collections processes as well as broader financial reporting and forecasting. This is a unique opportunity to join a small, highly visible team that's reshaping digital advertising in the world's largest home improvement retailer.
Key Responsibilities:
30% Account Reconciliations - Responsibilities include timely completion of monthly account reconciliations to ensure compliance to internal financial controls
30% Analytical Analysis - Using systems, knowledge, develop databases and queries to perform analytical analysis to determine trends/issues with individual vendors and business partners; Partner with business partners and vendors to conduct root-cause analysis to develop corrective actions
10% Collaboration - Assists off-shore team in daily tasks and conduct of their work
10% Process Improvement - Recommends changes in financial analysis methods or procedures
20% Reporting - Provide analytical support for the organization, business partners and vendors. Establish and report metrics

Travel Requirements:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, advertising, or a business-related field
1+ years professional experience in accounting, finance, financial planning, tracking, and/or billing at a digital agency or media company
Experience working in agency, retail, or professional services environments in finance and/or billing roles
Experience working with SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience and/or willingness to learn about external billing & collections platforms (ex: EDI, Coupa, Ariba, Accelitas)
Understanding of multi-step & split path invoicing systems, including ACH/credit card, contract-based invoicing, and direct invoicing
A data-driven mindset and ability to leverage analysis to make business recommendations
Strong decision making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills & attention to details
Outstanding written & verbal communication skills
