Job Summary
Manage the strategic and tactical elements of a range of company events, including branch open houses, tradeshows, executive leadership and board of directors meetings, and domestic and international customer appreciation trips, etc. Act as a project manager throughout the entire event planning process, including ROI post-event surveys and ROI analysis.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
Creates and manages planning for small- and large-scale events by capturing comprehensive event requirements from internal clients and translating into tactical plans.
Defines and manages the tactical event elements in tandem with the business and or functional client which may include budget management; site selection and hotel contracting; vendor assessment, selection, negotiation and management; and tracking, revising, reconciliation for revenue collection
Oversees architect quality assurance processes for event components to ensure compliance with defined strategies, requirements and budget.
Develops and drives major task project milestones and ongoing project management schedules. Tracks and reports on key event status metrics throughout the event lifecycle
Acts as a key contributor in developing best practices in event marketing process and performance monitoring.
Engages and interfaces with key stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure goal alignment for industry events and trade shows
Leads and develops team members to execute on industry event and trade show initiatives with a high degree of service and success.

Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.
Work Environment
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education and Experience
Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
