We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) professional to join our esteemed finance team. As a FP&A individual contributor, you will play a pivotal role in our finance department, focusing on advanced financial analysis, costing model development, and driving insights for our global operations and commercial teams. This role requires an analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to analyze and forecast costs across different business units and geographies within the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and inputs necessary for building accurate financial costing models.
Conduct variance analysis, identify key cost drivers, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Evaluate existing financial processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in cost analysis.
Generate regular reports and presentations outlining key findings and actionable recommendations.
Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing valuable insights and analysis to guide financial planning.
Analyzes historical trends, draws conclusions independently, and recommends potential courses of action based on discovery
Experience in technology development financial modeling and analysis
FedEx OpCo specific experience, or transportation experience, considered a plus
SAFe Agile framework knowledge and application within FedEx technology development including application to Finance processes and procedures

Minimum Qualifications Analyst I
Bachelor’s degree/equivalent in accounting, MIS, business or a related discipline. One (1) year experience in financial analysis, financial planning, business consulting, project management, accounting audit or operational analysis. Ability to analyze business operations and develop automated solutions. Strong analytical and communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications Analyst II
Bachelor’s degree/equivalent accounting, MIS, business or a related discipline. Two (2) years’ experience in financial analysis, financial planning, business consulting, project management, accounting audit or operational analysis. Knowledge of advanced spreadsheet applications and computer modeling. Knowledge of large service or business operations programming, systems consulting, systems analysis or computer modeling on either PC based or mainframe systems. Knowledge of multidimensional databases and web-based applications. Knowledge and understanding of PCs, networking, and peripheral devices. Ability to analyze business operations and develop automated solutions.

This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role.
