As a Senior Designer, you will…
Leadership – You will be responsible for setting goals, developing organizational capability, and modeling how we work together.
Planning and Execution - You will be responsible for developing strategic and operational plans for the studio, managing execution, and measuring results. You will plan and manage the studio to ensure programs are aligned with company business goals and objectives. You will lead design review in partnership with design leadership.
Business Requirements – You will lead new store design concepts, design initiative projects, and advocate to elevate design within the region.
Partner Development & Team Building – You will provide coaching, direction, and leadership support. You participate in performance calibrations and succession planning for design teams and act as a key member of the store design leadership team.
Enjoy working on an energetic, fun team and have a clear ability to drive the business forward as part of a highly collaborative team, while acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
We’d Love To Hear From People With
Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities.
Interior and architectural design leadership in retail, hospitality or restaurant design, or development organization including management of construction documents and/or new store concept development.
Excellent team leadership skills.
Ability to translate slated design principles/objectives into unique and varied store locations.
Demonstrated 3D visualization ability and working knowledge of color and design principles including experience with revit and sketchup.
Ability to balance design, with operational needs and budget objectives resulting in exceptional store environments.
